Johnny Dickinson

Johnny Dickinson, BBC Radio nominated folk artist of the year 2006 has been working in the studio on his new album "Hilo Town"

Johnny has been described as "The most potent slide player in the UK today." and has toured with many big names including Tommy Emmanuel, Jan Akkerman, John Renbourn amongst others.

However Hilo Town is not your usual bluesy side offering, the album harks back to bygone era of the thirties where recording techniques and gear were second place to great players and great songs.

Hilo Town is a collection of traditional songs from around the world packaged in John's very distinctive style, already receiving airplay on most local radio stations and often on Radio 2, being played by Jonnie Walker, Mike Harding amongst others.
